Wood Court

Wood Court is a purpose-built service providing accommodation and support to older people, both single and couples, within 39 self-contained one-bedroom apartments.

We offer a wide range of assistive technology, and staff are on-site twenty-four hours a day. Customers at Wood Court are over 60 and either registered as disabled or assessed to have care needs, requiring a minimum of 10 hours’ support each week.

All of the flats are wheelchair accessible, with level entry showers. There are excellent communal facilities, including a dining room, lounge and a fully equipped kitchen.

The dining and living rooms provide the focus for numerous social activities and are a hub for residents to get together and get involved. There is also a fully equipped laundry room, hairdressing facilities, assisted bathrooms and communal gardens.

Each flat has an intercom/Delta alarm system linked to care staff or, if they are unavailable, to a control centre.
