North London and Herts Community Support

North London & Hertfordshire Community support provides care and support services to people with learning disabilities and autism across North London and Hertfordshire. This service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and currently provides care and support to customers in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Brent. Customers either live in shared ‘supported living’ settings, or live in their own self-contained property and receive 1:1 support from our team of Care & Support Workers.

All customers have a learning disability or autism and are supported to live independently and maintain their tenancy, at the same time we work towards supporting customers to achieve short and longer term goals. Support is structured and covers various life skills, including:

• personal care
• assisted daily living activities, such as shopping or cooking
• managing health and well-being
• tenancy management
• accessing work or training opportunities
• accessing local community groups
