MTVH and Chartway Partnerships Group have announced a new partnership to deliver 67 affordable homes in Surrey.
The 4.23 acre site at Hazelwood Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames, is the first collaboration between Chartway and MTVH, and will bring much needed affordable housing to the area.
The 67 homes will be built exclusively for affordable rent. Pre-commencement work is underway, and construction is set to begin in Q1 2026, with an expected completion date of November 2027.
Chatinder Bal, Director of Land, Planning and Partnerships at MTVH:
“MTVH continues to work with key partners, including Homes England and Spelthorne Borough Council, to deliver much needed affordable homes. We’re delighted to be partnering with Chartway for the first time on this exciting project.
These 67 affordable homes will make a real difference for families in the local community, providing safe, high-quality, and sustainable places to live. We’re continuing to invest in much needed affordable housing with partners. We look forward to seeing this scheme progress and to exploring further opportunities to work with Chartway to deliver homes where they’re needed most.”
Kevin Clark, Land Director at Chartway:
“This is a hugely exciting milestone for Chartway. Our vision is to deliver new homes for everyone and working with a respected partner like MTVH allows us to make that vision a reality in Sunbury-on-Thames.
“Completing this transaction in under five months shows the strength and expertise of our team and the shared commitment between both organisations. We’re looking forward to bringing this scheme to life and to growing this partnership in the future.”
