Summary: Residents at Kingsmoor Park in Woking celebrated their community fun day on Saturday.
Around 150 MTVH and Woking Borough Council residents from Kingsmoor Park and the wider community came together on Saturday 26th July for a summer fun day hosted by MTVH that brought together the community.
Children enjoyed meeting a variety of different animals, with the event including a petting farm where residents could meet lambs, goats, guinea pigs, chickens and a pony. There was also a bouncy castle and a face painter.
The local police attended to engage with the community, and they even joined in a police vs residents egg and spoon race!
There was some fantastic food on offer, with fresh pizza and ice cream served and music from DJ Rikoshay.
Asif Rashid, MTVH Special Projects Lead, said:
“This was our second year of having a summer fun day in Woking, which we were delighted to host for residents as part of the community engagement and community involvement programme.
“The children were thrilled with the animals and activities, and the residents vs police egg and spoon race was a real hit! The event highlighted the strength of our close-knit community.”
