MTVH launches new strategy

Summary: MTVH has launched MTVH 2030, our new strategy, developed with residents, colleagues and stakeholders to create pride in every home, improve services, and build a stronger future for our communities.

We have today launched MTVH 2030: Pride in every home, a future shaped by you, our new strategic plan.

MTVH 2030 has been developed with residents, colleagues and stakeholders, and reflects the priorities and aspirations of the people who live in our homes and the communities we serve.

A clear focus on three priorities

MTVH 2030 sets out our ambition in three interlocking areas: Your Home, Your Service, and Your Future.

Your Home is about providing safe and comfortable homes our residents can be proud of, and improving how we understand and invest in every home.

Your Service is about delivering excellent customer service based on a stronger understanding of our residents and their homes.

Your Future is about working in partnership to build homes and communities that meet the needs of existing and future generations.

This includes continued investment in existing homes to improve quality and energy efficiency, strengthening how we use data to understand the condition of every home, delivering simpler and more transparent services, and building 6,000 new homes over the lifetime of MTVH 2030.

How we will deliver MTVH 2030

To enable the delivery of MTVH 2030, we will:

  • Know our residents better by listening earlier, understanding their views and creating solutions together.
  • Invest in and support our colleagues to do their jobs well.
  • Hold ourselves to account through clear measures, tracking progress across our priorities.

These priorities will be tracked through clear performance measures agreed with residents, ensuring we are accountable for the progress we make.

MTVH 2030 underpins our mission as a not-for-profit social landlord to provide quality homes where people feel safe and respected and can build the life that they aspire to.
