Summary: MTVH has appointed two new members to its Board, Buchi Onwugbonu and John Anderson, who bring extensive experience.
We have welcomed two new members to our Board, who will help continue to take MTVH forward and bring additional Board oversight of our strategy and performance as we begin delivering our MTVH 2030 strategy, which commits us to building 6,000 new homes and is taking MTVH forward and ensuring continual improvement in the services residents receive.
They bring a wide range of experience in transformation, operations, development and placemaking, and will help shape MTVH’s next chapter as we continue to deliver high-quality homes and services for residents and communities.
Buchi Onwugbonu
Buchi Onwugbonu joins the Board as a Non-Executive Board Member, focusing on Customers, Operations, and Change.

He will bring skills in operational oversight and digital strategy to the Board, the People & Governance Committee and the Customer Services Committee to help further enhance the resident experience.
John Anderson
John Anderson joins the Board with nearly six years’ experience as a Board member at Platform Housing Group, where he has served as Chair of the Growth and Development Committee and as a Non-Executive Director.

Board departures
We would like to extend our thanks to Nigel Ingram and Gurpreet Gujral, who have stepped down from the Board after six years and have both contributed enormously to MTVH during their time.
Althea Efunshile, Chair of the Board, MTVH, said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Buchi and John to the MTVH Board. They are joining us at an exciting time as we begin delivering our MTVH 2030 strategy, which is taking MTVH forward and ensuring continual improvement in the services residents receive.
“They will bring valuable perspectives and insight to the Board as we turn those ambitions into reality, and I look forward to working with them both.”
